Vietnam Airlines will operate a new route between Ha Noi and Dong Hoi in central Quang Binh Province from June 1 to August 31 to meet the increasing demand this summer.
The route will have a frequency of six to seven flights per week.
The flights will depart from Ha Noi at 6 am from Tuesday through Sunday every week, with the flying time being an hour.
Owing to its long coastline and location near the beautiful caves of Quang Binh Province, Dong Hoi City has become an increasingly popular destination for tourists in the recent years. In 2017, the city’s tourism industry welcomed nearly 1.1 million visitors, an increase of 29 per cent compared to the same period the preceding year.
Until August 31, 2018, the national carrier will offer attractive fares ranging from VND600,000 one-way in Economy class and VND1.8 million in Business class. The price excludes taxes and fees. Preferential rates apply for the journey from 1 June to 31 August 2018. — VNS
