Vietjet sells tickets on HN – Tokyo route

Vietjet on Monday started selling tickets on its newest international route connecting Ha Noi with Tokyo, Japan.

This is Vietjet’s third route to Japan, alongside Ha Noi – Osaka and HCM City – Osaka, to further meet the travel and trade demands between the two countries, the carrier said in a statement.

The Ha Noi – Tokyo route will have a daily return flight, starting January 11, 2019, with a flight time of more than five hours per leg. The flight departs from Ha Noi at 12.55am and arrives at Tokyo at 8pm (local time). The return flight takes off at 9.30am in Tokyo (local time) and lands in Ha Noi at 2pm.

In order to celebrate the new route, Vietjet will give away 2.5 million tickets, priced from only zero dong, over three days between Wednesday and Friday on www.vietjetair.com.

The promotional tickets are applied on all domestic and international routes to Tokyo, Osaka (Japan); Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea); Hong Kong; Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan), as well as Singapore; Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai (Thailand); Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Yangon (Myanmar) and Phnom Penh, Siem Reap (Cambodia) with flight periods from September 5, 2018 to June 30, 2019.

Notably, the flight period for the Ha Noi – Osaka route is from November 8, HCM City – Osaka route from December 14 and Ha Noi – Tokyo route from January 11, 2019. — VNS
