HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — VietJet will expand its ticketing channels worldwide and connect with over 446 global airlines following an agreement inked today with Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry.
The partnership offers opportunities to thousands of travel agencies and more flying opportunities to customers all over the world, VietJet said, adding that travel agencies worldwide could book their flights and get information in real-time using Amadeus.
Via the Amadeus travel agency network, the airline said, it planned to offer its full range of attractive fares and content around Asia Pacific beyond its home market to boost growth.
The deal with Amadeus would help bring VietJet and global customers, not just in Asia but also in Europe, closer than ever before, VietJet Managing Director Luu Duc Khanh said.
Earlier last week, VietJet said it was offering express check-ins at all airports for passengers over the age of 65, pregnant women as well as families travelling with infants under the age of two. — VNS
