Vietjet announced on November 9 that it has started selling tickets for a new route linking Ha Noi and Busan, which will debut on December 16.
Flight will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a flying time of four hours thirty minutes per leg. Flights take off from Hanoi at 1am and land in Busan at 7am (local time). Return flights depart from Busan at 8am (local time) and arrive in Hanoi at 11.05am.
To celebrate its newest route, Vietjet will give away 200,000 promotional tickets priced from zero dong for online bookings from November 16 to 18 at www.vietjetair.com.
“Currently, Vietjet is operating four routes connecting Ha Noi, HCM City and Hai Phong with Seoul and the dynamic city of Busan in Korea. Vietjet expects the new route will offer passengers more options for air travel with economical fares on entertaining flights. I hope our passengers can experience a fantastic journey as they board our aircraft,” Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh said.
Busan -- the second largest city in Korea -- is the next point of Vietjet's international network. The route is aimed at facilitating passengers’ leisure and business travel with reasonable fares.
Earlier on November 8, the carrier also opened ticket sales for its other new route -- HCM City-Taichung (Taiwan) -- priced from only VND210,000 (US$19). The new Viet Nam-Taiwan route will begin operation on January 15, 2017, looking to better meet increasing travel demand for tourism and business among localities.
