HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vedan (Vietnam) Enterprises Corp., Ltd this week donated houses to two poor families in Phuoc Binh Commune, Dong Nai Province.
With these, the number of houses the company has gifted this year to poor people in the four provinces of Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, and Ha Tinh goes up to 25, each worth around VND50 million (US$2,242).
In the last seven years it has spent more than VND5 billion to build 175 such houses.
Besides, it has undertaken social activities like providing scholarships to poor students, offering free health checks and others. — VNS
