Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Joint Stock Company has awarded 10 scholarships worth a total of VND250 million (US$11,013) to high-school students preparing to enter university in Ben Tre Province.
TTC also awarded 30 scholarships, including bicycles and cash, and 500 gifts worth a total of nearly VND400 million ($17,621) to disadvantaged students at An Thanh 1, An Thanh, An Thoi, and Thanh Thoi B elementary schools, An Thoi and Thành Thoi B secondary schools, and Quan Trong Hoang High School.
Besides, it donated bookcases with books to the libraries of these eight schools.
The scholarships are an annual programme. — VNS
