TikTok Shop announces 'Shopping Center' to simplify consumer shopping experience

TikTok Shop has recently announced the arrival of its new “Shopping Center” feature, an innovative shopping solution to make it easier for users to find more product options and help merchants better manage orders within TikTok Shop.

Located within the 'Shop' tab, this feature aims to help customers and merchants by providing a better buying and selling experience within the TikTok ecosystem, while enjoying entertaining and fun video content on the same platform.

In the “Shopping Center” feature, TikTok Shop streamlines consumers' shopping flow, so they can directly access anything related to shopping activities in one tab. In this tab, users can view orders, carts, shopping history, chat with sellers, and set addresses and payment methods.

Brands, merchants and creators in Viet Nam will be able to leverage the newly launched feature to drive an enhanced shopping experience with TikTok Shop.

The products in the Shopping Center feature have been divided according to categories so that users can find what they are looking for quickly and easily, such as beauty, women's clothing, electronics, food, and more.

For new users, the Shopping Center feature serves as a central hub where they can easily discover promotions, and a wider product assortment from across TikTok Shop merchants recommended through shoppable content, as well as manage their orders all within one tab.

According to the TikTok Marketing Science Global Entertaining Ads Study 2022 conducted by Marketcast, 50 per cent of users said that TikTok brings a state of happiness and optimism, with 40 per cent of TikTok users saying “lifting their spirit" is key in motivating them to make a purchase.

From March 25 to 27, the “Sale Luong Ve" programme will continue to be implemented with many attractive incentives to officially introduce the Shopping Center feature to Vietnamese users.

Accordingly, shoppers will have the opportunity to receive a series of exclusive offers from brands throughout the program period. In particular, new users will have the opportunity to receive millions of coupons with up to 90 per cent shipping discounts and seamless and refreshing shopping experiences. — VNS
