Thai Vietjet sells cheap tickets for flights after the pandemic

Thai Vietjet – a joint venture between Vietjet and Thai airline Kan Air – is offering more than a million promotional tickets priced from only THB9 (28 US cents) for all Thailand’s flights after the pandemic, the airline announced on Monday.

Passengers can book these discounted tickets at between Monday (April 27) and May 3 with travel period from August 1 to December 31.

According to Thai Vietjet, the tickets are applied to all the routes from Da Nang, Da Lat to Bangkok and from HCM City to Udonthani as well as all Thailand’s domestic routes from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, from Phuket to Chiang Rai, and from Udon Thani to Chiang Rai.

Earlier this month, Vietjet launched its POWER PASS accounts that allow passengers to take unlimited flights within Viet Nam.

Two types including POWER PASS Sky6 priced at VND8.99 million ($386) for passengers for domestic flights until the end of September 30, 2020, and POWER PASS Sky12 card priced at VND16.99 million ($730) for flights until the end of March 31, 2021 (except for Lunar New Year).

Vietjet pledges to strictly adhere to hygienic and disinfection regulations for the flights, including health checks and health declarations of passengers, leaving space between seats according to requirements, and spraying disinfectant after each flight and at the end of the day.

Passengers will also be required to wear face masks throughout the duration of the flight.
