TCP Group reaffirms the firm's commitment to Việt Nam’s market and making initiatives to drive the organisation toward sustainable business growth while creating positive impacts on society and the environment.

Saravoot Yoovidhya, CEO of TCP Group, owner of Thai energy drink brands Red Bull and Warrior, made the statement in Hà Nội during his first visit to Việt Nam, which coincided with the 5th anniversary of TCP Vietnam.

With five factories in Asia, TCP Group employs 5,100 people across Thailand and other countries. Selling 3.3 billion product units in 2022, TCP group’s products are exported to 14 countries, and through the collaboration with Austrian partner Red Bull GmbH, the Red Bull brand is marketed and distributed over 170 countries around the globe.

However, “TCP Group is more than just a global Thai enterprise; we are a company driven by a passion to make a positive impact on the world,” Saravoot said.

The corporate purpose demonstrates the firm's desire to create positive impacts in the world for everyone by providing them with the positive energy, confidence and refreshment to overcome challenges, achieve goals and make contributions to the environment and society. Meanwhile, the three key strategies, Fulfilling - Growing - Caring, are uniformly implemented across markets.

To support product development and innovations for healthy products to truly reach consumers, TCP Group turned to setting an additional enterprise objective for over 70 per cent of all products to pass TCP Group’s criteria for healthy product choices by the year 2024, covering low-sugar products and functional products.

TCP Group continues to sustainably develop its investment in both Thai and global markets, continuing its investment plans of US$340 million within 2024. In Việt Nam, TCP Group has increased its production capacity and expanded its office in HCM City. The firm will also increase the efficiency in the organisation with digital transformation by applying various types of technology, including data management and analysis, smart manufacturing, and data management from various omni-channel layers, as well as developing personnel to grow with technology and promoting work-life integration, more seamlessly connecting work and personal life.

In terms of ‘Carbon Neutrality’ and ‘Circular Economy’, TCP Group has set a goal to achieve carbon neutrality from all operations in Thailand and abroad by 2050, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 38 per cent, and develop 100 per cent recyclable packaging by 2024.

"TCP Vietnam remains steadfast in upholding TCP Group's commitment under the three business pillars of Fulfilling, Growing and Caring. We are dedicated to executing multiple initiatives that fuel our growth and amplify our efforts to make a substantial impact on Vietnamese society and the environment,” said Nguyễn Thanh Huân, Country Director of TCP Vietnam. — VNS
