HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – US coffee chain Starbucks has announced a promotional programme to mark its first Christmas season in Viet Nam.

The promotions, from November 4 to January 1, will include freebies and weekly gifts.

On Christmas, children will get gifts.

A Starbucks employee told Biz Hub that there would be a big surprise for customers coming on December 26.

To meet demand, the three outlets in the city would be open late on Christmas night, she added.

Also to celebrate Christmas, the chain has introduced several new drinks and souvenirs.

Toffee nut latte and peppermint mocha are popular coffee flavours in many countries, and are among those Starbucks will bring to Viet Nam.

The chain, which said business has been good since coming to HCM City at the start of this year, plans to expand to other districts in the city and open in Ha Noi next year. — VNS
