Shinhan Life Vietnam donated treatments worth VND150 million (US$ 6,180) and over 120 gifts to support pediatric leukemia patients in difficult circumstances at the Children's Hospital in HCM City on September 15.
The donation was part of the company's CSR programme with the aim of spreading love and providing faith and determination to children battling blood cancer on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The donation aims to encourage and support children in need and their families overcome their challenging journey against this disease.

By partnering with HCM City Children's Hospital, we aim to provide the most tangible protection and support to the future generations of our nation, creating favorable conditions for them to live joyfully and confidently pursue their dreams. We hope that Shinhan Life Vietnam's contributions will inspire and empower these children and their families in their battle against illness," said Bae Seung Jun, General Director of Shinhan Life Vietnam.
This marks the second consecutive year that Shinhan Life Vietnam has stood alongside HCM City Children's Hospital, providing financial support for the treatment of pediatric leukemia patients, with a total sponsorship of VND450 million. Thirty families with children suffering from blood cancer and difficult circumstances have received timely financial assistance, enabling them to continue their fight against the disease.
Shinhan Life Vietnam hopes that through community-focused initiatives, sharing, and love, children across the country and particularly the unfortunate pediatric cancer patients will find happiness within the loving and caring embrace of the community.
In addition to the programme to support underprivileged pediatric patients undergoing treatment at City Children's Hospital, Shinhan Life Vietnam also continues to offer over 50,000 free "Shinhan - An Bình” leukemia insurance packages.
Since the beginning of 2022, thousands of families across the nation have received these free leukemia insurance packages, securing their children's futures through a simple online registration process. — VNS
