Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (Shinhan Bank) has integrated payment of income tax and various fees on its mobile app to help promote cashless payment.

Individual customers with tax numbers can pay their income tax, car and motorbike registration fees and others on eTax Mobile.

Shinhan Bank said it is the first foreign lender in Việt Nam to launch such an integrated app.

The Government has various programmes to promote cashless payment.

Kang GewWon, CEO of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, said: “Responding to the trend of digital transformation in the finance and banking industry, Shinhan Bank has promoted the digitalisation of financial products and services, as well as our procedures.”

To pay tax, individuals with accounts at the bank should download and instal eTax Mobile, and those without should download SOL Mobile Banking.

After paying tax, customers can download tax/fee documents electronically via personal email or visit the nearest branch to get them. — VNS
