Betty Tran is also founder and CEO of Betty Tran Consultants, a full-service corporate strategy and creative practice, specialising in Fashion & Lifestyle, Retail, Real Estate and Technology.

She partners with leaders and organisations to create products and programmes that shape the intersections between brand and consumer to company and investor.

With an endless series of accomplishments under his belt, Australian-born Vietnamese celebrity chef Luke Nguyen has made quite the name for himself over his culinary career. Luke is also the author of four bestselling and award-winning cookbooks, Secrets of the Red Lantern, the Songs of Sapa, Indochine, and Luke Nguyen’s Greater Mekong.

Luke is currently leading WMC Group’s flagship restaurant, Vietnam House, a contemporary Vietnamese fine dining restaurant.

At the fashionable event, models will descend the grand staircase from the 8th floor of The Reverie Saigon into the Café Cardinal wearing the creations of Artisoul The Label and Gen C Studios from their debut collections.

Led by designer Khoi Nguyen, Artisoul The Label specialises in men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fashion, footwear, accessories and denim, while Gen C Studios is headed up by designer MT Nguyen (Tuan Nguyen), who creates men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fashion and accessories.

Chef Luke has created a special afternoon tea set drawing inspiration from Vietnamese flavours and ingredients presented in a highly refined manner. The savoury and sweet items include such delights as foie gras crispy spring roll, king crab and Iberico pork banh khot (rice pancake), pandan marshmallows and Vietnamese coffee cheesecake.

Luke’s incredible afternoon tea menu will be available at Café Cardinal for two months.

The event on July 11 will commence at 3pm with the serving of afternoon tea, followed an hour later by a fashion show. Guests can also tour the Designer Lounge exhibition and meet the designers from 4:30pm on the 8th floor.
