Bien Hoa Packaging JSC (SOVI) – a member of SCGP – has provided innovative applications to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee in HCM City to support COVID-19 prevention and control at administrative agencies and medical facilities in the local communities.
Since June 11, 1,000 SCGP paper field hospital beds have been delivered to the committee. They will later be transferred to medical units and locked down areas in almost all districts around the city, SCGP said in a statement.
"With our innovative paper products, we hope to work with the local authorities and frontline workforce of HCM City to fight against the pandemic effectively," Dang Ngoc Diep, General Manager of SOVI, said.
Another 1,000 paper field hospital beds have been also handed over to Binh Duong and Long An provinces, supporting these localities against the pandemic, the company said.
SCGP paper field hospital beds are made of 100 per cent recycled paper, easy-to-install and built to provide comfort and safety for both patients and medical teams. Previously, this innovation has been successfully put into use at field hospitals in Bac Giang and Hai Duong provinces, relieving the burden of the medical workforce in transporting and installing the patients’ beds.
