Sacombank successfully organised a tennis tournament last weekend to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13, at the Ky Hoa 2 Tennis Court in HCM City’s District 10 to foster relations between the bank and enterprises and between business leaders from various fields.

There were 120 players in the field from HCM City and southern provinces and had prize money of VND350 million (US$16,100).

They competed in a round robin to choose two finalists each for the final round involving three events: mixed doubles, under-45 men’s doubles and over-45 men’s doubles.

The matches were played on a standard court and supervised by a professional team of referees to ensure fairness and high professional quality.

Nguyen Hong Van and Nguyen Thanh Hang from the eastern part of the city won the first prize in mixed doubles, Le Van Hoa and Nguyen Ngoc Dung from the city’s western part won the over-45 men’s doubles and Nguyen Vinh Quang and Huynh Ba Tien also from the eastern part won the under-45 men’s doubles.

Sacombank is also carrying out a campaign called Accompanying Businesses, which offers corporate customers incentives in terms of fees and charges worth VND14 billion (US$602,900).

The incentives include waiver of fees for combo account services and domestic payments and a waiver of up to 45 per cent of the fees for trade finance and international electronic funds transfer and 55 per cent for bank guarantees until March 31 next year.

Corporate customers will also earn reward points to redeem gifts such as a Macbook Pro computer, Apple Ipad Pro, Apple watch and Apple Airpod.

Sacombank also offers specific customised products appropriate for every kind of business such as overdraft products with auto-debt collection feature, which helps businesses minimise loan interest, corporate credit cards which help manage and separate business and personal expenses and many other products and services. — VNS
