Reckitt has donated 500 cans of Dettol 5-liter liquid for disinfectanting surfaces and 1,600 bottles of Dettol liquid for handwashing worth VND375 million to the Hue Central Hospital’s intensive care centre for Covid-19 patients in HCM City.

Prof Dr Pham Nhu Hiep, director of the hospital, said: “Hygiene and disinfection at hospitals treating COVID-19 patients play a very important role in providing a safer working environment for medical staffs and making treatment being more convenient.”

Hospitals use Dettol liquid for wiping floors and other hard surfaces, disinfecting skin wounds and personal hygiene.
