PVI Insurance Corporation has become a partner of Swiss Life Network in Viet Nam.
The agreement, signed by the two companies in the capital Ha Noi earlier this week, is part of PVI Insurance’s strategy to provide diverse, flexible and appropriate healthcare programmes for all types of customers as mandated by Government policy.
Under the agreement, PVI will be member of Swiss Life Network’s multinational pooling network, a platform that helps international companies provide employee benefits across their organisations.
After the tie-up, Swiss Life Network’s multinational clients will have healthcare insurance programmes provided by PVI for their staff in Viet Nam.
Being a partner, PVI Insurance will learn from Swiss Life Network’s experience in healthcare since the latter has a history of more than 100 years. Furthermore, PVI Insurance will be able to expand its business since it will provide services to 500 members of Swiss Life Network’s pooling network, of whom 20 per cent have offices in Viet Nam.
“By participating in the pooling network of Swiss Life Network, PVI’s healthcare products for clients in Việt Nam will be improved, ensuring long-term stablity of insurance programme,” Duong Thanh Danh, vice chairman of PVI Holdings, said.
“The co-operation will help the company optimise cost control in the context that medical costs are increasing quickly in Việt Nam in 2019.”
Futhermore, the company would be able to offer better service meeting international standards to both corporate and individual clients, he said.
Swiss Life Network one of the largest pooling networks in the world, and only insurers offering high-quality services and products and solutions appropriate for their markets are selected to join it.
With four million customers world-wide, the total premiums collected by Swiss Life Network’s pool network last year was VNĐ449 trillion.
