HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Prudential Viet Nam was awarded the Second Class Labour Medal for its effective contribution to Vietnamese society and the development of the domestic insurance industry from 2009 to 2013.

This makes Prudential the first British enterprise in Viet Nam to receive the honour.

At the awarding ceremony here on November 11, Prudential Viet Nam Chief Executive Officer Wilf Blackburn said the valuable award served as a motivation for his company to intensify its efforts to bring the best possible financial solutions and services to customers as well as contribute more to the community.

"The year 2014 marks a milestone for Prudential Viet Nam as we celebrate 15 years of operations. Our business will continue to grow from strength to strength, and we are continuing to expand our business in both the agency and bank insurance fields in the entire country," Blackburn added.

On the same day, the company launched a new product that provides customers aged six months to 65 years with a comprehensive protection solution.

Introduced for the first time in the domestic life insurance market, the Phu Tam An product provides a wide coverage against all kinds of accidental risks, as well as cashless payments via the Prudential Viet Nam-aligned hospital network, with an impeccable 24/7 service. — VNS
