Organica Investment JSC, an organic food development and distribution system, has opened a store at Vinhomes Golden River in HCM City’s District 1, its fifth in HCM City and eighth nation-wide.

At Organica Ba Son, as usual, 80 per cent of the space is for displaying and selling certified organic products while the rest is for products in the process of being transitioned to organic farming or with environment-friendly certification.

All have food hygiene and safety certificates and clear origins.

Established in 2013 as a small shop in District 3, Organica now has eight outlets after also expanding to Ha Noi and Da Nang, and it stocks thousands of products now.

Pham Phuong Thao, CEO of Organica, said at the new store, there is space to display "ready to cook" and "ready to eat" products from Okitchen besides natural and organic non-food products for home and personal care.

From having a single 2ha farm in Long Thanh District in Dong Nai Province in 2015, Organica has now grown to tie up with partners to develop farms in Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, and Ha Noi. — VNS
