Property developer Novaland Group has signed strategic agreements with three foreign partners to develop hospitality services, which it is seeking to develop.

They are the Professional Golfers Association of America (the PGA of America), International Management Group (IMG), a leading global corporation specialising in sports, events, media and fashion, and French multinational hospitality group Accor.

The agreements were signed at the Binh Thuan “Investment Promotion Conference” late last week.

The deal with the PGA aims to bring a new standard of golf academies and golf course operational standards to the country.

The two will work together to develop world-class golf academies and junior golf programmes aimed at producing champion golfers.

The PGA will endorse Novaland’s golf properties in Viet Nam.

The partnership with IMG will bring a series of international golf tournaments featuring some of the world’s best golfers to Binh Thuan.

Bui Xuan Huy, CEO of Novaland, said: “Novaland believes Binh Thuan can attract many enterprises and will become a desirable tourist destination both in the region and the world.”

Accor will manage Novaland’s planned series of hotels with around 1,500 rooms located in Binh Thuan and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces.

Accor operates hotels under the Novotel, Mövenpick, MGallery, and Mercure brands.

Novaland recently announced a number of programmes to celebrate its 27th anniversary.

On the occasion, it also announced plan to develop an international standard hospitality project called NovaWorld Mekong.

It is likely to change the face of the tourism sector in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta, the company claimed.

It would be a bridge connecting tourism, agriculture and traditional local living styles, it explained.

A number of promotion programmes too were unveiled on the occasion of the anniversary.

The company has been developing a number of leisure-tourism property products in tourism cities with great potential such as Can Tho, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Phan Thiet City in Binh Thuan, and Cam Ranh City in Khanh Hoa.

Over the last 27 years, it has become a leading and prestigious property developer with over 40 different projects. — VNS
