Co.opmart supermarket chain on September 29 opened a new outlet in HCM City’s District 7, its 88th.
Co.opmart Huynh Tan Phat in Phú Mỹ Ward stocks more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Like all other Co.opmart outlets, this also sells price-stabilised goods.
Co.opmart sells products with clear origin and at reasonable prices, Nguyen Thi Tranh, deputy general director of Saigon Co.op, which owns the supermarket, said.
The new outlet Co.opmart’s first to have an area for children to play, a rest stop area, a make-up counter and fresh food booths designed like a traditional market, she said, adding that a Galaxy cinema complex would open there soon.
The outlet is offering opening discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items, detergents, dish washing liquids, household utensils, and fashion products.
