The MM Mega Market An Phu launched an 'Australian Food Fair' on March 18.

From March 16 to 30, the Australian Food Fair will open a series of 'Taste of Country' festivals – one of MM's significant events in 2022.

The event aims to promote the cultural and cuisine exchanges between Viet Nam and many countries worldwide through famous specialities and imported food. It also shows MM's efforts to become a leading food retailer for professional customers and households in Viet Nam.

"It's great to see such a good range of Australian food and beverage products across all categories in this Australian Food Fair. In 2021 Australia's food and beverage exports remained at 51.4 billion Australian dollars, and Viet Nam was Australia's sixth biggest export market (with 4.9 per cent of market share)," said Australian Consul General Sarah Hooper.

"The 2-week fair will not only be a well-received showcase of Australia's world-renowned, premium quality and delicious food and beverages but also create opportunities for Australian businesses in Viet Nam. We value the partnership with MM Mega Market Vietnam, which has gone from strength to strength over the years."

At the event, customers can enjoy shopping time with thousands of imported foods from Australia, such as beef, cheese, wine, grapes and lobster at attractive prices.

They can also discover a variety of authentic Australian dishes through a cooking demonstration by professional MM chefs at weekends.

"Viet Nam and Australia are both global players in the agribusiness sector. Australia is a world leader in supplying meat, grains, dairy, and processed food and beverage. We chose Australia as the first country to kick-off our 'Taste of Country' events," said Bruno Jousselin, Managing Director of MM Mega Market.

"I believe it will be not simply a cultural exchange, show a vision of fostering cooperation between MM and global suppliers to diversify customers' choice when shopping at MM."

Australia is well-known for its diverse beauty, natural wonders, ancient culture, and rich Australian culinary culture.
