Life insurer Manulife said it is making efforts to offer customers a better experience under its new mission called ‘Decisions made easier. Lives made better’.

It said it is part of its efforts to become a “digital, customer-centric market leader”.

For the last two years, the company has been investing in building platforms after starting by trying to understand customers’ needs.

Manulife pioneered the Net Promoter System (NPS) in the country and established a customer experience team that listens to feedback and resolves problems.

It is developing digital tools to connect its agency with its eco-system to provide customers quick digital services.

“We believe we need to build on our success today by continuously evolving and putting customers at the centre of our business,” Kim Fleming, CEO Manulife Vietnam, said.

“That’s the only path to success because customers are the ones in charge. — VNS
