LINE, an application offering free voice calls and message, has announced it will organise “Opening Day” on March 31 to share its plans for Vietnamese market and look for capable workers.
The company said the event would give it an opportunity to approach the community of app creators and talented technicians in Viet Nam.
Việt Nam is a young nation with many talented technicians and start-ups in the information and technology sector, and accessing this human resource base would be an important step in its development in the market, it said.
“Demand for human resources in information and technology has kept increasing and Viet Nam has huge resources,” a company spokesperson said.
“Vietnamese technicians are smart, creative and patient. That is why we want to create more chances and projects for them.”
LINE came to the country in 2017 by acquiring Adways Technology Vietnam.
It has since doubled its staff count to 100.
