Food producer KIDO Group Corporation has launched new products including fish sauce and seasoning powder under the Tường An and Tường An Unicook brands.
Together with the acquisition of 68 per cent of Thọ Phát Quốc Tế Joint Stock Company in October, the launching of new products are aligned with the corporation’s goal of "Filling up Vietnamese Kitchens" with nutritious, convenient, safe, and unique products.
The new products are Tường An Fish Sauce 40 Protein – Rich Taste; Tường An Fish Sauce 32 Protein – Well-Balanced Taste; Tường An Unicook seasoning powder made of pork ribs, beef bones, and broth; and Tường An Unicook seasoning powder made of mushrooms, herbs, and vegetables.
Trần Lệ Nguyên, CEO of KIDO Group Corporation cum chairman of Tường An Vegetable Oil Joint Stock Company, said: "The spice industry is an important part of KIDO's strategy to expand into essential food products, and 'Filling up Vietnamese Kitchens' is the goal set by KIDO.
With the new products launched at this stage, he said, the corporation will utilise the Tường An brand’s advantage to penetrate different markets, he said.

Tường An's fish sauce and seasoning products will be officially available at Tường An distribution systems starting from December 25, 2023.
The products are made from natural ingredients which are carefully selected through a closely controlled production process, ensuring the safety and health of consumers.
Moreover, the Tường An fish sauce factory is certified with FSSC 22000 and meets the export standards of the United States.
Tường An Unicook seasoning powder is produced with high-quality standards on a modern Japanese production line, certified with ISO 22000, GMP, and more.
In Việt Nam, spices have always been an integral part of traditional and modern Vietnamese cuisine.
Ingredients such as cooking oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, and pre-packaged spices have become indispensable for cooking various dishes.
According to a market research report by Euromonitor International, the market size of the seasoning industry in Việt Nam is predicted to reach VNĐ36 trillion (US$1.5 billion) by 2022.
Among them, fish sauce holds the largest share with a total size of VNĐ15 trillion ($617 million). Furthermore, the report forecasts that the seasoning industry will reach VNĐ41 trillion ($1.7 billion) by 2026. — VNS
