Food manufacturer KIDO Group has appointed two new brand ambassadors for 2018, football stars Nguyen Quang Hai and Bui Tien Dung.
The company said it chose the two for their youthful and sprightly image and for representing the archetypal image of Vietnamese youths as determined to overcome challenges and make every effort to realise their dreams.
Hai and Dung were members of the national team that won the silver medal and the fair play award at the Asian Football Confederation U23 Championship.
Since being established over 25 years ago, KIDO has remained the leader in all the segments in which it has a presence, including confectionery, ice-cream and food.
It targets expansion through developing more products in segments like ice-cream, yoghurt, instant noodles, cooking oil, sauces.
It targets revenues of VND10 trillion (US$438 million) this year.
Last year it had doubled its revenues to VNĐ7 trillion ($307 million), and reported a net profit of VND570 billion ($25 million), up 62 per cent. — VNS
