Over 1,200 primary students of the Le Van Luong Primary School in Nha Be District of HCM City have received hand sanitisers from the Red Scarf newspaper and Green Cross Vietnam Company, Ltd.

The sanitiser gifts are part of the "Safely going to school with children" programme organised by the two parties, targeting primary schools far from the city centre to donate more than 6,000 products.

In addition to the sanitiser gifts, programme organisers have co-operated with schools to organise events that will broaden knowledge of COVID-19 epidemic prevention through games and vivid and funny visuals. These help children grasp epidemic prevention measures quickly and easily. The programmes cleverly combine knowledge and activities such as washing hands and complying with 5K regulations.

Green Cross Vietnam has in recent years donated tens of thousands of products to more than 50 hospitals across the country in order to support frontline forces in the pandemic fight. — VNS
