With diverse and agile content, various learning formats, strong support teams and powerful analytics, Udemy and FUNiX partner to build learning cultures in Viet Nam for companies looking to thrive in today's ever-changing world.
According to Richard Qiu, President of New Ventures at Udemy, organisations must prepare and upskill their employees to address skills gaps and drive business forward as the world is undergoing rapid and unpredictable changes.
Qiu's presentation showed some thought-provoking statistics. According to a recent Gartner study, 59 per cent of leaders prioritise critical skills-building in 2022, and a Deloitte survey revealed that 71 per cent of CEOs are preparing for workforce and talent transformation.
Many skills once considered "supplementary" have become critical in today's world, such as "power" or "soft" skills. Companies must offer training for their employees to acquire the most diverse skills, from Excel and database management to people management and interpersonal communication, to achieve the best possible results.
At the seminar, Qiu introduced Udemy Business, a learning solution which offers corporate customers a robust employee training and development platform. “Udemy Business offers a collection of courses curated from the Udemy marketplace that supports learning across all business functions and levels. The Udemy Business platform also allows a variety of learning formats and modalities, from laptops and tablets to smartphones, enabling learners to learn anywhere, anytime. A collaborative customer success partner works with each business to help ensure learning programs are strategically focused to boost impact for Vietnamese businesses. Powerful analytics and industry benchmarks are also used to provide actionable insights,” Qiu added.
FUNiX is currently Udemy's exclusive partner in Viet Nam. The collaboration between FUNiX and Udemy will introduce Vietnamese organisations to the best courses from the Udemy marketplace, regularly updated through learners' feedback and localised in the local language. This will be a critical step in bridging the skills gap between Vietnamese businesses and world-leading companies.
Nguyen Thanh Nam, Founder of FUNiX, expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to cooperate with Udemy. Viet Nam is a country heavily-invested in education and well-adapted to the internet and digital society.
"With more than 18,000 students in 7 years in operation, FUNiX had met Udemy at the right time. Our partnership will help turn the dream of accessing world-class education at a reasonable cost into a reality for all Vietnamese people and companies," Nam said. — VNS
