FrieslandCampina Vietnam was honoured with the Green Enterprise award by the Binh Duong Province Department of Natural Resources and Environment late last week.

It was the fourth time the company was receiving the award.

It is given based on criteria like complying with environmental laws and regulations and maintaining environmental management records.

FrieslandCampina was also listed in the province’s Green Book for outstanding accomplishments in environmental protection.

The People’s Committee maintains the Green Book to encourage enterprises to comply with environmental protection regulations.

In August the company signed an agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for the Viet Nam’s Green Environment programme in 2018-21.— VNS
