FPT Software was officially awarded the title of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) premier consulting partner at the AWS Partner Summit in Singapore.

With this recognition, FPT Software has become the first ASEAN headquartered AWS’ Consulting Partner to be accorded the highest tier of the partnership.

“We are proud to be recognised as AWS’ Premier Consulting Partner,” said Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of FPT Software.

“Achieving this status is a milestone for FPT Software, an acknowledgment of our dedicated and effortless work with AWS to enhance our competency and foster technology innovation to create more value for FPT Software’s customers, accelerate their cloud adoption journey and maximise their AWS investment,” he said.

Prior to this status, FPT Software had earned several recognitions, including AWS’ Technology Partner of the Year in 2017. It was among AWS’ partners to achieve the Managed Services and Migration Competencies awards in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

With a strategic location in Asia, FPT has a significant role to play in building relationship with countries in the region, AWS said. The main markets of FPT include Viet Nam, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Tran Huy Bao Giang, technology director of FPT Software, told ICTnews that the company officially began cooperation with AWS in 2016.

Currently, FPT and AWS are working together in the fields of mass migration, managed services and innovation (Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data and blockchain).

By becoming AWS’s Premier Consulting Partner, FPT Software can access major partners in the world to implement large-scale projects globally, Giang said. — VNS
