US auto company Ford Motor has announced key leadership changes in Viet Nam as part of an organisational reshuffle.
Ruchik Shah, currently deputy managing director, takes over as managing director from April 1.
Pham Van Dung, who has been managing director since 2015, will leave the company.
Shah joined Ford in India in 2005 and has held significant positions in a number of functional areas including sales, services, product marketing, and service engineering.
He was appointed deputy managing director, Viet Nam, last year and recently relocated to Ha Noi.
Truong Kim Phong, business development director, will become deputy managing director.
Phong joined Ford in Viet Nam in 1997 and has contributed to several successes in turning around the business both in Viet Nam and the Asia Pacific. He has served in numerous skill teams including sales, marketing, service, and product strategy. — VNS
