HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — A food delivery company called foodpanda Viet Nam has partnered with KOTO, a social enterprise providing hospitality service training, to support disadvantaged youth.

Under the partnership, the company will work with KOTO in the coming months on several initiatives, including sponsorship of KOTO's trainees and distribution of food and clothing to people in need.

The company will use funds from its consumers to buy meals for homeless children and will sponsor equipment for KOTO's training centres with money raised from its partners.

In June, the company celebrated its second anniversary in Viet Nam, and announced that it had maintained strong growth thanks to the highly positive response in the Vietnamese market.

Since its launch in Viet Nam, the company has expanded to five major cities around the country with a network of 1,000 partnered restaurants.

The company is the leading global online food-delivery service, and operates in 40 countries and territories. — VNS
