Saigon Co.op’s retail chains, including Co.opmart supermarkets, Co.opXtra hypermarkets, and Co.op Food convenience stores, are offering many attractive promotions from August 26 to September 1 as part of its “Proud of Vietnamese goods 2019” programme.
They include two programmes offering extremely high reward points for customers having Saigon Co.op member cards, one giving away products for free and others giving buy more, get more discounts and steep discounts during the three-day National Day holiday weekend.
On Monday (August 26) there is a programme that enables customers to buy the second item of a product for zero dong. The products under this programme are high-quality suitcases, alcohol stoves, house cleaning kits, refined sugar, seasoning, milk, instant coffee, and oats.
On Tuesday (August 27) customers with gold, silver and platinum loyalty cards will get 20-30 reward points in their accounts for every 30 reward points the earn from buying on the day. (VND10,000 = 1 reward point).
Customers with gold and silver cards can get up to 200 reward points/card/day, while customers with platinum cards can get up to 300.
This is the biggest offering of reward points that customers should not miss.

On Thursday (August 29) customers who use the Co.opmart environment-friendly bag when shopping will receive 10-20 reward points.
During the three-day weekend (from August 30 to September 1) Co.opmart, Co.opXtra and Co.op Food will run a super discount programme offering large discounts on cooking oil, non-stick pans, liquid detergents, clothes, folding mattresses, shampoos, fabric softeners, dishwashing liquids, floor cleaning liquids, and detergent powders.
Together with the designated promotion programme for each day, Co.opmart, Co.opXtra and Co.op Food stores across the country will also offer discounts of 15-50 per cent on household goods; fresh foods; fruits and vegetables such as grapefruit, guava, avocado, orange, papaya, spinach, pumpkin, chayote, bitter melon, tomato, yam, and cabbage; snakehead fish; catfish; pork; pork chops; shrimp; and chicken among others.
