Sanofi Vietnam headquarters building meets WELL standards

Drug maker Sanofi-Aventis Vietnam ’s office building in HCM City has got the WELL Gold Certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI™).

HCM CITY — Drug maker Sanofi-Aventis Vietnam ’s office building in HCM City has got the WELL Gold Certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI™).

In June 2024 it opened its new headquarter with workspaces designed to WELL standards, and was awarded the IWBI™ under the latest version of the WELL Building Standard – WELL v2.

Based on WELL’s assessment standards for air quality, Sanofi Vietnam ensured compliance with fine dust levels, sound, lighting and other indicators.

It utilises eco-friendly and sustainable local materials such as rattan and bamboo.

The building also received the Silver Award in the Better Future - Environmental Sustainability category at the 2024 ASIAN Design Awards.

According to the Better Future Awards, which runs the competition, adherence to WELL standards and the use of local materials in the design were key factors in Sanofi's success.
