HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The first Co.opmart supermarket in Dak Nong Province and the 77th in the chain opened on July 1.
Located on Huynh Thuc Khang Street in Gia Nghia town, the 4,500sq.m outlet, which cost more than VND70 billion (US$3.2 million), stocks more than 30,000 goods, most of them Vietnamese.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Bon, permanent deputy chairman of the province People's Committee, said the new outlet would provide people in the province, and especially the town, with one more place to buy goods with clear origin, good quality, and reasonable prices.
Saigon Co.op, which owns the supermarket chain, donated VND100 million (VND4,591) to the province's Fund for the Poor. — VNS
