Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets are offering attractive discounts on more than 3,500 products for Tet (Lunar New Year) together with a bonus point accumulation programme from now to noon on January 27 (Lunar New Year Eve).

The products have been discounted by 10-50 per cent. For instance, roasted watermelon seeds, chestnuts, dried candied coconut, dried candied lotus seeds, dried beef, sausage, spring rolls, beverages, kitchen utensils, and textiles and fashion products have all been discounted sharply.

Prices of some high-grade stainless steel pots, rice cookers and small gas stoves have been cut by half, while hair-dryers, infrared cookers, electric kettles, steam irons and others have been discounted by 30-49 per cent.

Clothing, including children and adult ao dai (Vietnamese long tunic), have been discounted by 20-30 per cent.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, Co.opmart member cardholders who have 40 points from purchases will be given 20 bonus points at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.opFood and HTVCo.op nationwide. VIP card holders who have accumulated 40 points will be given 30 bonus points.

Customers who buy Xuan An’s Australian oats, products of Poca or the Coca Cola brands will receive four times the standard number of points.

During two special periods from January 16, 17 and 18 and January 23, 24 and 25, if customers use Visa cards to pay for purchases worth over VND1.5 million (US$66.3) at the supermarkets, they will receive a set of Co.opmart high-grade glass boxes.
