CPV Food’s chicken processing complex for export, the country’s biggest, is expected to generate US$100 million during its first phase from 2019 – 2023.
Located at the Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park in the southeastern province of Binh Phuoc’s Chon Thanh District, the $250 million complex shipped its first batches overseas this year.
The complex is the first closed processing model in Viet Nam, consisting of one animal feed factory, five breeding farms, one egg incubation factory, 24 broiler farms for meat, and one slaughter-processing factory.
All facilities have been built in line with safety standards set by the World Organisation for Animal Health, with advanced technologies applied in management and production activities.
In the first phase, the project has an annual capacity of 50 million broilers per year. The annual capacity and revenue are set to double in the second phase. — VNS
