Canon Marketing Vietnam on Wednesday in HCM City introduced to the market many new G-series printers and two new photo printers.
The company said that it has expanded its ink efficient G series lineup with the latest refillable ink tank printers combining high ink volumes and low cost printing.
The new G series printers include G3060, G3020, G 3020 and G1020 models.
Standout features in the new G series include the drip-free, hands-free ink refilling mechanism, and a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge design to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity for homes and businesses.
The new Canon G series includes enough ink to last years for most users, delivering up to 7,600 pages for black-only documents, and 7,700 pages for colour documents. This presents an easy choice for users who need to print more without hesitation, and has the potential to transform traditional printing habits completely.
The prices of these new printers are from VND4.84 million (US$200) to VND7.37 million ($300).
The two new professional photo printer models PIXMA PRO-200 and imagePROGRAF PRO-300 are equipped withCanon’s latest printing technologies to create professional photos and exhibition-ready prints up to A3+ size.
Both new models are 15 per cent smaller in footprint compared to predecessor models, taking up less space on work desks. An automatic skew correction function prevents mistakes in paper alignment and reduces paper wastage.
The prices are VND15.4 million ($670) for Pixma Pro-200 and VND22 million ($950) for imagePrograf Pro-300.
Canon’s products reached the Viet Nam market in the early years of the 1980s through its authorized distributor. Over the past 18 years, Canon has marked its very active presence with the establishment of four factories in industrial zones.
