Canadian school moves to Phu My Hung

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Canadian International School System (CISS) in HCM City on Sunday held a grand opening for its new campus in the Phu My Hung Urban Area in District 7.

Built at a cost of VND950 billion (US$46 million) on an area of 39,000sq.m, it is one of the largest school campuses in Viet Nam.

More modern than the old school in Binh Chanh District, the new one has a large library with 13,500 books, a cafeteria that can seat 2,000 students, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and a 1,250-seat indoor sports stadium.

CISS has been in Viet Nam for five years and has 1,350 students from 26 countries and regions. — VNS
