HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Supermarket chain Big C opened a hypermarket and mall in Ha Dong District in Ha Noi on June 25, bringing the total number of its stores in Viet Nam to 31.
Located at Ho Guom Plaza, Big C Ho Guom covers a total area of 22,000sq metres, of which the supermarket occupies more than 2,500sq.m.
The supermarket sells more than 16,000 items, ranging from fresh and dry food, garment and textiles to household utensils and electrical appliances. Ninety-five per cent are local products.
The leased space in the lobby has more than 55 boutiques and shops, offering products of famous brands like Adidas Neo, Bata, the Face Shop and Yves Rocher.
For the opening, the supermarket is offering discounts between 5 and 49 per cent on hundreds of products. Gifts in environmentally friendly bags will be given to customers with bills worth at least VND300,000 (US$13.7). — VNS
