Baemin partners with Shinhan Bank to issue co-branded credit card


Online food delivery application Baemin Vietnam on Tuesday announced a partnership with Shinhan Bank to launch a co-branded credit card named "Gourmet Member" with a credit limit of VND100 million. Cardholders will also receive attractive Baemin gift packages valued at up to VND6.9 million ($277).

Online food delivery application Baemin Vietnam on Tuesday announced a partnership with Shinhan Bank to launch a co-branded credit card named "Gourmet Member" with a credit limit of VND100 million (US$4,000).

Cardholders will also receive attractive Baemin gift packages valued at up to VND6.9 million ($277).

"With our customer-centric culture, we have been constantly making efforts to build meaningful partnerships, leveraging modern financial technology to give users more choices in payment and personal financial management. The co-branded credit card “Gourmet Member” with Shinhan is just the start of BAEMIN's long road of levitating user experience,” said Jinwoo Song, general director of BAEMIN Vietnam.

With the Gourmet Member welcome package, cardholders will get 30 BAEMIN discount coupons valued at VND30,000 each. The discount code is available within six months from the date of receipt and is applied to orders with value of VND30,000 or more, excluding delivery fee.

With the Gourmet Member special package, cardholders will receive coupons offering 25 per cent discounts, valued at up to VND50,000 per order, and cannot exceed 120 orders each year, equivalent to a total gift package valued at up to VND6 million. The discount coupon is valid for use during each month and is available for all orders. Each member can use up to 10 coupons per month.

Many other promotions will be applied for cardholders.

The registration for the card is available on the SOL app of Shinhan Bank.

Alongside the burst in the use of mobile devices and the Internet, as well as the increasing trend of different payment methods in Viet Nam, cashless payment is becoming prevalent and is receiving great attention from businesses across sectors.

Baemin is an online food delivery application operated by Woowa Brothers Vietnam, a member of a joint venture between Woowa Brothers, the leading food delivery company in Korea established in 2010, and Delivery Hero, the world's leading food delivery technology corporation, providing services in more than 50 countries.
