HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, officially launched its new Airbus A350-900 XWB on the route between HCM City and Shanghai, China, on March 28.
The operation of the Airbus A350 on this route aims to meet the increasing demand of passengers between the two cities and to affirm the carrier's superior service in the Chinese market.
On the occasion, Vietnam Airlines conducted a promotional programme for passengers to experience business level service from April 1 to 30. The passengers will have the opportunity to buy return business-class tickets at the price of nearly VND12.4 million (US$550) with the departure scheduled between April 16 and 30.
The promotional airfares do not include taxes, fees and surcharges.
Vietnam Airlines currently offers 14 flights per week on the route to Shanghai, half of which depart from Ha Noi and the rest from HCM City.
The Airbus A350 is part of the carrier's initiative to use a wide body fleet for long trips. — VNS
