Accor to manage CEO's Novotel Phu Quoc

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — CEO Phu Quoc, a member of CEO Group and investor of Novotel Phú Quốc, signed a hotel consulting and managing contract with Accor Group in Ha Noi on June 17.

Accordingly, Accor Group will consult, manage and operate the Novotel Phu Quoc Hotel, which is one part of the Sonasea Villas & Resort complex.

CEO Group said the five-star complex, which cover nearly 80 hectares in the Bai Truong area of the Phu Quoc island, will serve the demands of high-class tourism and offer multiple services such as ecotourism, leisure and entertainment.

The VND500 billion ($22.7 million) Novotel Phu Quoc Hotel, which spans ​​70.730 thousand sq.m is built into a high-end resort with 40 bungalows and a 406-room hotel on international standards.

CEO Group Chairman Doan Van Binh said his group is now one of the largest investors in Phu Quoc island. Currently, the group has three major on-going projects including Sonasea Villas & Resort, Residences Sonasea, and Sonasea Golf Estates in the island district of southern Kien Giang Province.

Europe-based Accor Group is known as the world's leading hotel operator and market leader. It is present in 92 countries with more than 3,500 hotels and 450,000 rooms in the last 45 years.

Accor Group, which manages 17 hotels across Viet Nam, such as Sofitel, Pullman, Mgallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis, will manage and operate Novotel Phú Quốc when it is expected to begin operations in December 2015.— VNS
