PHU QUOC (Biz Hub) —Salinda Premium Resort and Spa will become the first luxury resort on the picturesque island of Phu Quoc in the southern Kien Giang Province of Viet Nam.
With an investment of US$35 million, Salinda Corporation has announced that the resort will officially open on August 15 after being under construction for 18 months.
Spanning over an area of 2.5 hectares along the beach in Duong Dong town, the five-star resort is at a distance of only 4km from the Phu Quoc International Airport.
Salinda Premium Resort and Spa is inspired by an interplay of rustic local heritage with contemporary design. An unprecedented commitment to innovation and authentic local traditions is reflected in every feature of the 121 rooms and villas with private balconies, embodying the inherent essence of luxury experience with understated beauty and enchanting spirit of the pearl of Asia.
Set against a backdrop of endless ocean vistas and unspoiled natural surroundings, the resort is expected to become a perfect venue for special events. The banquet hall, equipped with sound system sufficient to host a concert, can accommodate over 400 guests.

The investor stated that the corporation aims at building Salinda Resort into an international standard destination for vacation and spreading the image of Phu Quoc tourism to people around the world.
To celebrate its grand opening, the resort has run special promotions from VND3,182,000 or $148 per night, valid from August 15, 2014 to October 31, 2014. — VNS
