HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The first Vespa 946 version 2015 under fashion brand Emporio Armani arrived in Viet Nam on September 9.
The new model, developed to highlight the 40-year Emporio Armani fashion brand and celebrate the 150th birthday of Piaggio, is named Vespa 946 Emporio Armani.
The scooter was first launched in Italy in June this year. It was brought to Viet Nam to prepare for its premiere, which is expected to take place on September 18 in Ha Noi.
The scooter has the signature bee-shape design of previous models, but the body is made of solid steel with a satin finish. The label "Emporio Armani" is mounted on both sides of the body, and the brand's fashion logo features on the scooter's front panel.
The new model has a new-generation three-valve engine with an electronic fuel injection system and aluminum cylinders. It is also equipped with LED headlamps, turn signal lights and tail lights with LEDs and an LCD multi-functional display. The safety technology includes anti-lock braking (ABS) and traction technology (ASR).
Vespa 946 is the most expensive scooter in the world. Although its price has not been announced, it's predicted to not be lower than the expensive Vespa 365 Bellissima of 2014, which was sold at a price of VND365 million, as expensive as a small car, in the Vietnamese market. — VNS
