A high-end apartment project named "Midori Park the TEN" had its work started in Bình Dương New City, the southern province of Bình Dương, on January 12.

The groundbreaking ceremony was jointly organised by the provincial People's Committee and Becamex Tokyu Co. Ltd., a joint venture between Japan's Tokyu Group and Vietnam's Becamex IDC Corporation.

Spanning an area of nearly 1.4 hectares, this is the sixth luxury apartment project by Becamex Tokyu. The development will consist of a 10-storey building housing 300 apartments and will be the first in Bình Dương to feature a public onsen (hot spring) bathing area. The project is expected to be completed and handed over in autumn 2025.

Nguyễn Văn Danh, Vice Chairman of the Bình Dương People's Committee, emphasised the significant progress made by Bình Dương New City as the political, economic, cultural, and financial centre of the province.

He acknowledged the contributions of businesses, particularly foreign investors, to the development of the area and expressed the hope that Midori Park the TEN would provide a desirable living environment for residents not only in Bình Dương New City but also in the wider province.

Danh urged Tokyu to continue sharing its expertise in urban development, accumulated over more than 100 years, to assist in transforming Bình Dương into a green, smart, and livable city.

Japan is currently the second-largest foreign investor in Bình Dương province, with over 350 projects valued at more than US$5.9 billion.
