WMC Group appoints new vice president


Windsor Property Management Group Corporation (WMC Group), a hospitality and property management company, has appointed Kai Speth, an acclaimed hotelier with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, to the position of vice president of operations and business performance.

Windsor Property Management Group Corporation (WMC Group), a hospitality and property management company, has appointed Kai Speth, an acclaimed hotelier with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, to the position of vice president of operations and business performance.

The German native is currently general manager of The Reverie Saigon. In addition to The Reverie, which he will continue to manage, Speth will play a key role in driving WMC’s plans to establish itself as one of Viet Nam’s leading hospitality brands, paving the way for expansion.

Speth has held general manager positions in luxury hotels throughout Asia including Grand Hyatt Taipei, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, as well as various management roles within Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Bali, South Korea and the US.

In 2011, he was voted one of the Top 10 business executives in Viet Nam by the local Business Style Magazine publication and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He won the 2009 GM of the Year award from the French organization MKG/HTR in the upscale luxury hotel category.

Incorporated in 2004, HCM City-based WMC Group’s diverse management portfolio includes The Reverie Saigon, Windsor Plaza Hotel, Sherwood Residence, restaurants in the central business district, grade-A offices, and commercial shopping centres. — VNS
