Leading companies from Taiwan, including 33 winners of the Taiwan Excellence Award, are showcasing their latest technologies and innovations in the areas of business solutions, gaming and the Internet of Things (IoT) at an upcoming three-day exhibition Vietnam ICT COMM.
The event is being organised at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7 in HCM City.
This year marks the debut participation of the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at Vietnam ICT COMM.
The pavilion features products and technologies that have been distinguished with the Taiwan Excellence Award, the highest accolade bestowed upon Taiwan-originated products based on their excellence in design, quality, marketing, Taiwanese R&D, and manufacturing.
According to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the international trade development arm of Taiwan, the event is an avenue to promote Taiwan’s leadership in cutting-edge technologies and to foster knowledge exchange and deeper partnerships with customers, fellow innovators and members of the larger ICT industry.
The Taiwan Excellence pavilion will showcase 33 premium Taiwanese brands, including Acer, ASUS, Aver, HTC, D-link, Edimax, Inwin, Kingmax, Transcend, Plustek, PX, Thermaltake and uHandy, and will feature 80 innovative products during the three-day show.
Ming-Hui Tang, director of the Taiwan Trade Center HCM City, said: “In 2016, 73.7 per cent of Taiwan's total exports were delivered to Asian trading partners. Vietnam ICT COMM 2017 will offer many opportunities to the Viet Nam and Taiwan business community and the potential to leverage, exchange and flourish in this area”. — VNS
