HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam is poised to benefit from a new global wave of smart infrastructure, as Schneider Electric and NVIDIA expand their strategic partnership to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence (AI) factories — digital powerhouses where AI is trained, deployed and operated at scale.

Announced at the NVIDIA GTC event in Paris last week, the collaboration between the global sustainability leader Schneider Electric and AI computing giant NVIDIA aims to deliver next-generation data centres and AI-ready facilities — sectors that are gaining rapid traction in Việt Nam’s digital transformation journey.

“AI is the defining technology of our time,” said NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang. “Together with Schneider Electric, we are building AI factories — essential infrastructure that will bring AI to every company, industry and society.”

For Việt Nam, where digitalisation and green growth are national priorities, this partnership reinforces the strategic direction Schneider Electric is already pursuing locally: combining AI, real-time data, digital twins and automation to improve energy and resource efficiency across industries.

“Schneider Electric and NVIDIA are not just partners — we are co-innovating technologies and infrastructure to drive a new generation of AI factories globally,” said Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric.

“Our joint efforts in electric and advanced liquid-cooling systems designed for AI data centres are helping redefine what AI can achieve sustainably.”

Building Việt Nam’s AI infrastructure future

In Việt Nam, Schneider Electric has been actively working with Government and private sector partners to modernise industrial operations and strengthen digital infrastructure. The focus on data centres and smart factories is aligned with the country’s push to attract high-tech investment, boost digital resilience and lead in sustainable development.

By bringing global innovations closer to home, Schneider Electric’s partnership with NVIDIA is expected to support Việt Nam’s ambition to become a regional digital hub, particularly as AI and automation continue to reshape manufacturing, logistics and urban services. — VNS
