Vietnam Television (VTV) and Vingroup have signed a cooperation agreement to promote green transformation.
The deal marks a significant step towards environmental sustainability in Việt Nam. By joining forces, they aim to raise awareness, encourage green consumption habits, and facilitate practical actions that contribute to national goals on green transformation.
Under the agreement, VTV will facilitate Vingroup's member companies and partners in offering solutions, services, and products aligned with green transformation objectives. This includes promoting green mobility through electric vehicles for staff members.
VTV has agreed to allow Vingroup to expand the charging station system at VTV's headquarters and offices nationwide, facilitating easy access and conversion to electric vehicles for employees and the public.
Đỗ Thanh Hải, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, emphasised the importance of green transformation as a major policy of the Party, State, and Government. He highlighted VTV's commitment to not only fulfilling its media role but also actively collaborating with organisations and businesses like Vingroup to integrate green practices into everyday life.
Nguyễn Việt Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup, expressed satisfaction with the growing number of organisations and businesses choosing Vingroup and VinFast to advance the green transformation process.
